Accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord on 30 January 1970 while an undergraduate student. Received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on 30 April 1970. Served as Secretary of the Evangelical Christian Union of University of Ife, National Secretary of the  Nigerian Christian Graduate Fellowship, Secretary of Calvary Baptist Church (CBC), Zaria. Ordained Deacon of CBC, Zaria in 1980 and Minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ on January 2005. Pastored a church in Congo Brazzaville. Commenced discipleship program (Masterlife) with his wife, Mrs Victoria Wambebe at Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), Wuse II, Abuja  in 1996. Later, he introduced Experiencing God disciples programme to ECWA Church. God used the discipleship programme to transform ECWA Church to a living Church. Since the commencement of the discipleship, over 1000 christians have been discipled in various churches all over Nigeria. The glory belong to God. Had a vision about the Lord informing that he is an apostle of Jesus Christ and should plant churches in August 2007 in Nairobi, Kenya. The mission is discipleship in villages, slums, prisons and schools.

Pro-Chancellor/Chairman, Bingham University (2005), Short Term Professional, World Health Organization (2002). Pioneer Director-General/Chief Executive Officer, National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development, Abuja (1989-2001). Visiting Professor of Pharmacology, Georgetown University Medical Center, USA (1986). Lecturer/Professor, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1973 to 1988). Served as consultant to African Union, Economic Community of Africa, United Nations Development Program, World Health Organization, United Nations Industrial and Development Organization, African Development Bank, etc at various times between 1993 and 2008. Fellowships of Nigerian Academy of Science, African Academy of Science, Academy of Science for Developing Countries (TWAS). Received various national and international merit awards including TWAS Award in Medical Sciences and Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR).
